Are you single and looking for things to do?
Central Wisconsin Network (CWN), also known as the Central Wisconsin Singles Network, plans a variety of activities for singles 50+, and you will surely find some to enjoy.
As a member you are welcome to join us at weekly and monthly dine-outs, book club, movie club, outdoor activities, holiday potlucks, golfing, concerts, plays, dance lessons, bowling, skiing, kayaking, camping, dances, watching the Packers and much more. We are a large group with many sub-groups based on individual members' interests.
We are not a dating club! CWN is a social network that has been bringing people together since 1988. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, and we enjoy coming together to learn, relax and have fun.

Who is CWN for?

Is CWN a dating club?
No. CWN is a social network that has been bringing people together since 1988. We come together to learn, relax and have fun.
How much does membership cost?
Membership is $10 for 2026. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31, and the renewal drive for the next year begins December 1.
Can I come to a dance before I join?
Yes. CWN dances are open to non-members for $15 ($12 for members). Many member outings also welcome members' invited guests.
How will I hear about events?
Members receive a monthly newsletter and email updates about events, including last-minute outings. This website lists the dance schedule and regular events, and you can request one complimentary newsletter to see what it's like.
What should I wear to a dance?
Dress is “nice” but not formal.
Where do activities take place?
In and around Wausau, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Waupaca and Marshfield, with weekend trips farther afield, such as camping in Door County.
How do I join?
Download and print the membership form, fill it in and sign it, then mail it with your $10 dues to CWN, PO Box 752, Stevens Point, WI 54481-0752. You can also hand it in at any CWN dance.
Who runs CWN?
CWN is run by volunteers. Members elect the board of directors at the annual meeting, and members are welcome at monthly board meetings.
